BRIEF BIO

Louise is a Geordie lass who trained with with East 15 on their acclaimed Acting and Contemporary Theatre course. She is an emerging actor, writer, and theatre maker who co-directs Meat Lab Theatre. 

Louise has been classically trained to a grade 8 standard in singing, and has furthered this training with genres such as musical theatre, jazz, and folk. She excels in arranging harmonies for voice, and was the musical director for the original musical: Deptford Wives, which was also helped by her skills on violin and piano.

 

A big part of Louise's debut play: Pits, is made up of stand-up comedy, which is something that she has started to write and perform more and more.

 

She is passionate about writing theatre and film that will not only make people laugh, but that will put the world to rights in a bold, and even in-yer-face sort of way.
